The pavlova was named after the Russian Ballet dancer Anna Pavlova when she visited Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s. Both New Zealanders and Australians like to claim it as their own, but is the pavlova originally a Kiwi or an Aussie invention? The debate rages on, but in this case it's safe to say the proof is in the pudding.

Here are some of our favourite pavs:
Caramel pavlova
Chocolate pavlova with raspberries
Pavlova with grilled plums
Coconut pavlova roll
Kay's pavlova

Generations of New Zealanders and Australians alike have enjoyed the dessert and now we want to know: What is your most creative and pioneering pavlova recipe?
